Quiet

Issues of class were talked about how. How artists of less means often create differently. My art professor, Jim Foose, said “never let lack of money or materials stand in your way of making art.”

Inside & underneath that quiet, hauling abandoned bricks to your backyard to frame a garden during times of grief begets a masterpiece.

Issues of disease & illness were considered  when the body didn’t function quite right, pain was prevalent, yet beneath it all, in the quiet,  the creative process began.

Thoughts of despair were discussed. The pushing on through underneath the quiet. When finished you looked at what you created & you would say to yourself “How did this happen? It is so beautiful.”

The desire to share emerged and not quiet roared.
